Urgent ads are ads with an eye-catching label in the listing results to alert users to act quickly to your ad.
Using Urgent will mark your ad out in listing and search results with an eye-catching red label. This will help to generate interest and encourage people to respond quickly to your ad.

What is the price to label my ad as Urgent?
If you select to label your ad as Urgent in the listings for 7 days, the price depends on the category you select and is shown on the form. Prices start at £3.95, but depend on the category you are posting in.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, and PayPal.

Can I make my ad Urgent if it is already on the site?
Yes! To mark an existing ad as urgent:
1. Click on the “Manage my ad” button on the Gumtree homepage. Enter your ad’s posting reference number and password.
2. In your ad, select the Urgent tickbox in the "Promote your Ad" section at the bottom of the Post an Ad form.
3. Follow the instructions to preview and pay for it to be labelled as Urgent.
After a short period (it can be up to 4 hours) your ad will then appear in the category you have posted in, with an eye-catching label, marking your ad as Urgent.

My Urgent ad was deleted. Can I get a refund?
We reserve the right to remove ads without refund where these breach our posting rules and/or terms and conditions . You are asked to confirm that you have read the posting rules and terms & conditions before submitting your ad.
However, if you feel that your deleted ad does meet our posting rules and terms & conditions then please let us know and we will take a look.
