Solid oak dining table and 2 solid oak benches (cost £1200 last year) (£700)
We are very sad to be selling our beautiful solid oak dining table and matching solid oak benches but we have decided that we need more space and so are having to get ourselves a much smaller dining table. This set is only just over a year old and we fell in love with it without really considering the size of our room. It fits nicely but with the need for highchairs at the ends and an ever increasing mountain of toys the room is shrinking
We bought it from the housing shop next to Dunelm Mill near the Trafford Centre and paid £1200 for the table and both benches thinking that they would be our 'forever' table and chairs.
The table and benches are incredibly solid and very, very heavy. I hope you can see from the photos the beautiful detail in the wood and the way the tops of the legs are visible on both the table and benches.
There are a few signs of wear on the varnish which I couldn't get to show up on the photos. I don't think these detract in any way though and liked the way the table was becoming worn in. Obviously you are more than welcome to view the table before bidding to check you agree.

We have had a number of dinner parties and seated 8 at the table by adding 2 chairs at the end but this is a squeeze on the benches and only recommended for close friends! Otherwise 2 on each bench and 2 chairs at the end is perfect.
Collection only please although if the winning bidder wanted to arrange a courier to collect I would be happy to work with you. Please note that these items are VERY,VERY heavy and would need at least 2 people to collect and move them. The legs can be removed for transportation.
