New Business Advisor
To make outbound calls, to gain appointments from prospective and existing client companies, for the external sales team.
Make outbound calls, to gain new appointments within existing and prospective companies, to meet and exceed targets.
·        Ensure effective territory planning and correct recording of information onto the contact management system, to maximise the efficient use of the external sales team’s time.
Dispatch follow-up literature and confirm appointments.
Co-ordinate and maintain diaries for external sales team and the Head of Corporate Sales.
Establish and maintain effective sales contacts within target companies by research and development.
Accurately record notes from all calls onto the relevant record on the contact management system.
Make full and effective use of systems and databases to maximise penetration of given target markets.
Handle telephone responses from advertising, direct mail and other marketing initiatives ensuring that sales opportunities are maximised.
Provide support in aid of other sales team members and/or Marketing where necessary.
Make the best use of Information Technology/Telecommunications systems provided and to participate fully and positively in and to any training provided.
Work within the internal sales department performance criteria standards, and company competency framework and values.
Have a personal responsibility and attitude towards Health and Safety anddo everything to maintain and promote a safe working area.
Manage own personal development, in line with objectives agreed as part of the PRD process, and other development needs identified during the year, to lead to increased performance.
- Bonus A Bonus structure is available for this position which provides potential for an annual bonus payment of up to 15% of salary. This is based on performance and is awarded following results in annual appraisals.

Must have 6 months outbound business to business sales experience.
