TITLE: Innovative Web Developer / Designer

TYPE: Full time SALARY: neg + profit related pay

LOCATION: Bolton

THE ROLE: The company has a portfolio of globally orientated products ready to move forward. This role is to develop innovative and creative design ideas across a whole range of commercial sectors and candidates must have a significant knowledge of PHP and MySQL, including experience of object-orientated programming and client/public usability. Working within a small team you must have excellent communication skills, be flexible to client needs and have the ability to work with initiative under pressure. Other responsibilities will include the production and updating of client websites, so a solid appreciation of web standards and accessibility is a must.

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 years commercial experience is required.

SOFTWARE SKILLS: Core skills must include OO PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache and XML. Experience of the following would also be advantageous: Flash, Linux, Shell scripting, PHP CLI, web frameworks, Photoshop, AJAX, OO Patterns.
