Desirable-previous hotel experience, a knowledge of protel, previous switchboard skills, good IT skills, essential that you are a people person, have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, with a confident and courteous manner, customer focused, good general education, smart professional appearance, standards orientated. An eye for detail, ability to use tact and discretion, and keen to approach new and challenging tasks. Duties include guest accounts, operating the hotel switchboard to company standards, cash handling, responsibility for security and emergency procedures when on duty. Deal efficiently with reservation requests. Knowledge of hotel rates and promotions. 32-40 hours per week, 4 over 7 days between 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.
