Eden Scott's client are looking for an IT Audit Manager to join their existing team, who develop internal audit strategy and assist in setting up functions; helping clients deliver their annual audit plan either by enabling them to fully outsource their function or by using us as a co-source partner to provide resources, specialist or otherwise, as and when required to transforming existing functions to ensure that they are relevant, cost effective and risk focused.
The clients IT systems-based audit service is part of the their wider financial assurance service that provides an independent external audit opinion of a client's financial statements.
To support this opinion they audit IT system processes and controls including those relating to IT governance, security, operations, IT change management and development
Both external and internal audit services have a broad range of clients across different industry sectors, including small local organisations to large multinationals.
Key duties will include:
* Working with a range of clients and deliver internal audit and external audit assignments;
* Being part of a team that performs IT and business process audit work to support the statutory audit opinion of client financial statements;
* Supporting senior members of the team provide advisory services to internal audit clients ranging from strategy, functional transformation, and internal audit effectiveness reviews; and
* Building relationships both internally within the firms network and externally with clients on ongoing engagements.
You will have significant internal audit experience of delivering IT and business process audits; and have external audit experience - a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or MIIA is preferred but not essential;
Ability to develop and manage relationships with clients/contacts is key; and have good report writing and communication skills. Due to the nature of the work being client-based, it can involve working at many different locations, so having a driver's licence is preferable but not essential.
