We are looking to recruit a locum dietitian, full time, 37.5 hours a week, at the grades of band 6 or band 7 with extensive experience in gasto dietetics (Upper GI) and/or ICUwith extensive experience in gasto dietetics (Upper GI) and/or ICU. The areas of expertise must include enteral feeds: NGs, NJs, PEGs and PEJs and TPN at extensive complexity level.

Initially we are looking for a locum for three months with the possibility to extend the period of employment for an additional few months.
In addition to the inpatient load there would be outpatient clinics:

1. Coeliac clinic – twice a month
2. Medical GI clinic – once a month
3. Upper GI clinic, on call – weekly

Accommodation on site available- charges £60 per week inclusive. Shared bathroom and kitchen plus use of TV lounge. Beds changed once per week, rooms serviced by domestics.

Car is advantageous but not essential.

Please note, this position require high acute clinical skills due to the complexity of the patients, band 5 dietitians and newly promoted band 6 dietitians are not suitable.
