Science Technician
Hays Education are currently recruiting for a Science Technician for a secondary school in the Rochdale area.
Your duties will include the following:
- Preparation of stock solutions.
- Maintaining glassware in classrooms.
- Preparing practicals prior to lessons and delivering to the classrooms.
- Setting up practicals where necessary.
- General up keep of Science Technician laboratory.
- Willing to help pupils during lessons if required.

In order to work as a science technician you will require the following skills:
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety with a laboratory
- Experience setting out and preparing laboratory equipment
- Willingness to promote learning
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Positive outlook
- Own transport is preferable but public transport is no bar to work
