Human Resources Business Partner
Role Summary:-
This role will report into the Senior HR Business Partner and will involve working in partnership with Operational Managers. The successful candidate will have responsibility for all site performance management, Absence Management, Employee Welfare, Disciplinary and Grievance, Employee Engagement, Employee Retention. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to working in partnership with the local communities and promoting the employer brand in order to make LBM an employer of choice.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and be CIPD qualified or working towards this. Experience of working in a similar role is essential.
An up to date knowledge of employment law combined with excellent communication and inter-personal skills is essential this is a demanding role that requires a proactive individual with a strong commercial focus and proven business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide specialist HR advice to all colleagues and management across the business.
Act as primary contact for all HR issues arising within organisation.
Take a proactive approach in achieving and exceeding the site HR KPI’s (Contact Centre Performance, Site Attrition, Site Absence etc)
Identify and recommend change through engaging the key stakeholders in driving continuous improvement across the site
Conduct and record exit interviews and coordinate regular reports and statistical data relating to colleague retention
Support Operational Managers on Disciplinary & Grievance casework, ensuring legislation, policy and best practice are follow and HR KPI’s are achieved
Lead the management of casework in relation to sickness absence and long term absence, including making recommendations, giving advice and support to Operational Managers, setting up case review meeting and capability meetings
Support Operations with the development and maintenance of Performance Management across the site, this includes developing managers’ skills in this area, leading on capability related casework, and advising and guiding managers through the relevant policies and procedures
Utilising their solid understanding of Employment Law, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are embedded and adhered to across the operation in line with company business needs.
Interpret and deliver HR initiatives.
Analyse/highlight problem areas/processes to drive continuous improvement across the business areas.
Support the HR team to successfully deliver defined projects.
Provide updates on general and statutory HR requirements.
Develop existing procedures and implement new company policies.
Deliver appropriate coaching and development to the business, specifically linked to Management Development (in conjunction with the Training Department).
Ability to ensure all HR guidelines set are adhered to by team management.
Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of all HR records and filing systems.
Manage own performance and personal development.
Responsible for the management and development of the HR Advisors & Administrators.
Experience and Skills:-
Knowledge of key HR process areas
Up-to-date knowledge of changing legislation (employment law)
At least part-CIPD qualified or working towards
Experience of working in a rapidly changing and challenging environment
Experience of working in contact centre or similar environment is desirable
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages

Salary:-
Full Time, Permanent, 38.75 Hours per week 5 out 7 days
up to £25,000 DOE
Location:-
North West – Sites Across Altrincham, Stockport and Middleton
