UKOH are currently sourcing candidates for the 2008-2009 winter season and require a number of ktichen staff to work in resorts across the french alps.

WHO ARE UKOH?

Established for 12 years, UKOH aims to place staff at all levels in hotels and chalets in French mountain and coastal resorts and in prestigious cities during the winter and summer seasons.

UKOH are looking for candidates to invite to interviews in Manchester on the 29th,28th 30th July

CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

CHEF
MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE: Managing the other kitchen staff; producing up to180 covers for a set evening meal (3 courses for which you will prepare the menu; preparation of a full buffet breakfast. It is desirable that you speak french if applying for this role

POTWASHER :
A key part in the successful functionning of the kitchen

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE : Washing utensils and dishes; handle, sort and store food items; disposal of rubbish; clean equipment used to prepare food.

KITCHEN PORTER:
MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE;

Cleaning of kitchen and food preparation areas, clean kitchen equipment, assist in food preparation.


SALARY: Confirmed on job offer

START AND END DATES: To be confirmed. Contract length varies from site to site. Successful candidates need to be available from DECEMBER to end of APRIL

LOCATION: To be confirmed.

REQUIREMENTS:

ALL CANDIATES MUST:

HAVE A EU PASSPORT AND A UK NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER

The ability to speak french is not a necessity for all positions but would be an advantage, especially for the chef because many of the ktichen and restaurant staff will be french.

Have excellent team work skills

Be able to work quickly and safely

Have good personal hygiene

Have plenty of enthusiasm and a positive attitude
