Salford City Council need foster carers
Could you provide a loving and supportive home to a child when they most need it?
We need foster carers to look after children of all ages living in Salford, especially older ones and sibling groups.
You'll need to be patient, caring and able to give a child or young person a loving and supportive home. You'll also need some experience of caring for children either at home or at work.
Children really benefit from being placed with foster carers who share their language, religion and culture and we welcome applications from people from all backgrounds.
We welcome applications from people over 21, and have no upper age limit. Foster carers need to have both the experience and energy to meet the needs of a foster child.
Ideally you'll live in Salford, or be able to commute easily for regular meetings and visits.
You can be married, living together or single, straight or gay. You don't need any specific qualifications, as we provide comprehensive training.
We also provide extensive support and allowances of £166 - £614 per child, per week.
