My client is a leading Search Company, based in Yorkshire. After being established for 8 years they have built up a fantastic reputation in the industry. They have had a steady turnover and have really developed the business to a high level in the last couple of years. In 2009 they have really pushed on and have brought on larger clients with even bigger budgets; which mean’s the company is just going from strength to strength. In the Yorkshire office they currently have some really talented individuals with experience in PPC, Affiliates & Web Design; most with a top agency background. This is a relaxed agency who just provide sophisticated and effective Search Marketing solutions. Due to this success it is now time to launch the next stage of the business which will be a second office based in Manchester.
To kick the 2nd office on, the company will firstly require an experienced Business Development Manager. This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is target driven and hungry for a new challenge. It would suit an entrepreneurial individual as you will have lots of autonomy in the role and be responsible for pushing the North West offering forward. You will be working directly with the Owner of the company and able to bring your own ideas to the table and really get your teeth into the role. The company is already well networked in the area and leads and business are already coming in thick and fast so you must be able to hit the ground running. You will be required to also generate your own leads, set appointments and present often to board level. You will be selling the business, its already strong reputation and their services which include PPC, Affiliates & Web Design. Your predominant focus will be Pay Per Click and you will ideally already have experience selling or working in this sector. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a history of working towards and hitting targets in a sales environment.
Although this will be a highly responsible, highly pressured job role you will be rewarded excessively. The Owner is a fantastic individual who has a great reputation with his staff for rewarding and ensuring all staff feel highly valued. You will be able to discuss your bonus package at interview stage which can be tailored to your own needs and individual ability. Your role will be extremely pivotal to the business and you will also be extremely valued to the company. Additionally there will be lots of opportunity for progression. As this is a new venture and division in the North West you will be involved in future recruitment for the office and as the businesses profile grows, in turn so will yours.
