Business Development Bid Manager
We have a vacancy for a Proposals and Tenders Manager within our Business Development Department as follows:
The candidate will have a relevant Marketing/Business qualification. A minimum of 5 years proven commercial experience and at least 3-5 years experience in a commercial law firm is required. Candidate ideally will demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role covering bids, tenders and proposals within the business development function of a law firm.
REPORTS TO: Business Development Director
SUMMARY OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Working with Partners and Directors to maximise client and business development
 Working on all major bids and tenders internally, supporting Partners/Directors externally
 Writing and project managing all bids and tenders
 Pulling together proposals library and creating templates for future use and branding purposes
 Developing and managing proposals database
 Conducting client tender briefs and debriefs ensuring clear feedback for future improvement to tender process
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
 Proven tender and copy writing skills
 Proven ability to pull together templates and historic tenders and compile a tender library
 Strong interpersonal and project management skills, ability to work with Partners, Directors and clients internally and externally
 Ability to work effectively to deadlines and project manage a tender from initial brief through to final de-brief
 Ideally has worked within a law firm in a bids / tenders / BDM team supporting and managing similar process
 Proven ability to work with all levels in a BDM team within a law firm up to Senior Partner and Director level
Proposed salary to a maximum of £45,000
