This role is for a Lead Mechanical Engineer with experience in the Nuclear Sector to manage the day to day running of the Mechanical and Vessel design and engineering groups for a Nuclear Waste Handling Facility. You will be required to monitor progress against the current schedule and ensure both disciplines are delivering to milestones, to attend meetings both with the Mechanical and Vessels team and Project Management as required and to provide guidance and direction when conflicts are evident between the various stakeholders.



Person Specification





- Degree qualified

- Experience in a Management role on a multidisciplines task force in Nuclear or Oil and Gas Sector

- Pressure Vessel / Nuclear background preferred

- Understanding of Engineering Contractor working environment and ability to interface with clients, suppliers and other discipline engineers Ability to carry out Lead Engineer role.
