Cancer Research UK Relay For Life is a unique 24 hour fundraising event. Taking place in locations accross the North West this summer, Relay For Life needs teams of 8-15 people to join together and enter.

Teams are encouraged to raise as much money as possible before the event and when the big day arrives, the teams will camp out at the Relay site and celebrate their fundraising achievements. When they are not taking their turn relaying, they can take part in a range of fun activities and local entertainment.

Relay For Life is a celebration and an informal day of remembrance and as well as relaying, there’s music, there’s laughter, there’s fun, but there’s also poignancy and everyone who joins in takes away something special.

As well as team members the volunteer organisers are also seeking volunteers to help out in the run up to, and on the day.
