Instrument Engineer (Engineer, Snr, Principal Oil Gas, Manchester
We are looking for various levels of Instrument Engineers for our major oil and gas client based in Manchester. While OandG experience is preferred, applicable experience from other industries will be considered.
General skills/experience as below, increasing in depth and breadth the more senior the level.
IET accredited degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a bias towards Control and Instrumentation. CEng Preferred.
Areas of expertise to include:
Field Instrumentation - the specification of process measurement devices used for flow, pressure, temperature and level and their associated installation.
Control and safety valve sizing and specification.
Metering system design to fiscal and custody standards involving analysis and flow computation.
Control system design based on DCS and Scada technology.
Safety system engineering and design with full compliance to IEC61511.
Instrument and control system integration and loop design.
For Principal Instrument Engineer - to act as Lead Engineer in the execution of projects and provide technical specialist expertise.
