Vintage Inns are some of Britain's finest pubs - we have 200 businesses nationally, situated in idyllic countryside or coastal locations and each has its own character and identity. Although each pub is an individual business in its own right, we retain the classic Vintage Inns hallmarks of roaring open fires in winter and fabulous gardens for summer.

A major part of the Vintage appeal is the menu - traditional favourites, contemporary specials and an emphasis on freshly prepared food. Our menu offers a choice for all types of dining occasions. At the bar, you'll find a wide range of high quality wines from around the world and regional cask conditioned ales.

Stretton Fox, Warrington

This is a beautifully refurbished Vintage Inn just off the M56 near Warrington. It is a flag ship pub for the brand and trades extremely well throughout the year. We have 200 covers internally and 100 externally. It is a large business with 70% food sales and 30% drink.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with a large team and therefore must be able to lead and inspire the team. Kitchen experience is preferred with high standards and great guest service skills essential. This is a great opportunity for a senior Assistant to gain experience in a large, successful business.

Who are you?

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, as well as getting involved in strategic activities such as setting targets and driving local marketing campaigns. You will enjoy the buzz of running shifts and love spending time setting and reviewing goals for your team members and supervisors.

Our Assistant Managers need to:

Be passionate about Guest service and standards
Have experience in management, ideally in a branded, hospitality environment
Be enthusiastic about food and hands-on in the kitchen
Be willing to learn our IT systems and be heavily involved in business controls
Enjoy the buzz of running shifts
Enjoy spending time setting and reviewing goals for your team members and supervisors
Be ambitious, wanting to further your career in management in the future
