Hr Advisor 30 hours
HR Advisor Altrincham 30 hours per week Mon-Fri 8.30am-3.00pm (30 hours per week)
We are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor for our client in Altrincham.
To be considered for this role you could have some from any of the following - HR Advisor, HR Administrator, HR Manager, Personnel Manager or similar.
This would suit a HR Advisor who is currently able to commute to South Manchester or lives in Sale, Altrincham, Manchester, Cheshire.
This HR Advisor role will require you to provide a HR service to our client and their employees whilst ensuring compliance with current HR legislation in respect of employment law and health & safety. You will be working in conjunction with management dealing with daily HR issues
and providing an intermediary service between employees and their line managers.
As a HR Advisor you will be offering advice and guidance on any aspects of employment law and best practice ensuring equality and fairness to all employees whilst maintaining confidentiality and security.
This HR Advisor role will also require you to ensure the company is adhering to Health & Safety and Fire Safety regulations along with some general office management and administration duties.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Providing clear and balanced advice on all HR issues including employee relations i.e. disciplinary and grievance procedures, training and development of individuals and recruitment and retention to the management team.
You will be responsible for Recruitment, Selection and induction of all employees.
You will ensure that our clients policies and procedures are adhered to taking action when there is a breach and updating policies to reflect changes in legislation.
You will maintain personnel management system and all other administrative records in accordance with the role and legislation including
New employee details – Letters of engagement, Contracts of employment
Holiday, absence & lateness records
Appraisals
Disciplinary & grievance
Exit interviews
Training records
Provide management with reports and up to date information on employees offering guidance on actions that should be taken.
Monitoring the use of e-mail for misuse
Time and attendance tracking of all employees
Management of employee dates for probation, appraisals, promotion etc
Sourcing relevant training and providing in house training
Provide a counselling service to all employees
Health & Safety
Carry out risk assessments and premises inspections in line with current legislation
Ensure that H&S documentation is kept up to date and that our client are compliant with all regulations in respect of H&S and Fire Safety.
Essential Skills are:-
CIPD qualified or part qualified
Thorough knowledge of employment law and best practice.
Proven time management skills
Confident in dealing with employees at all levels showing understanding and support where required
Good communication skills oral and written
Presentation skills
Organisational skills
Project Management skills.
Desirable
Good IT skills including word excel and access.
