YOUTH ACTIVITIES MANAGER

Average Contract Length: 4 months on/2 months off

Privilege Level: Officer

Stripes, if applicable: 2 Stripes

Minimum Hours Per Week: 70 hours per week

Average Hours Per Week / Day ** If Crew Member volunteers for Overtime: 70+ hrs per week, based upon operational needs / 10-12 hrs per day

Berthing: Shared

Guest Contact: High


Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation and handling of the daily operation, Guest and Crew experience

• Manage the operation and lead the Youth Activities team responsible for one of the following age groups:

􀂾 Infant / Toddler group babysitting

􀂾 3-7 year olds

􀂾 8-12 year old

􀂾 Teens (13-17 years old)



Required/Desired: Experience, Qualifications, Education, Licenses:

• Minimum four years experience in a high volume childcare operation, preferably in a recreational/leisure/camp setting

• Minimum two year previous managerial experience in a related field

• Degree in related field preferred

• Proven experience leading a team

• Exceptional Guest service skills

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Must be receptive to CPR training

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to lead a team and anticipate and solve problems quickly

• Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet
