Support Worker Children & Families
Immediate requirement for Children & Families Support Workers covering the Manchester area.
Key Duties;
To undertake observation and assessment of contact visits in accordance with an agreed plan and contribute to the continuing assessment of children and families in need and children at risk of harm.
Assist in returning children to their families in accordance with an agreed care plan.
Providing and presenting accurate written reports to Social Workers, Multi-agency Meetings and Court
To facilitate and supervise contact visits between looked after children and their family
Minimum Job Requirements;
Minimum of one year’s experience of working with children and their families.
Demonstrable understanding of providing services to users that are accessible and appropriate whilst understanding and displaying empathy for diverse needs.
Must be in possession of a driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be willing to drive.
Rate - £7 - £10 per hour
Experience of supervised contact essential.
