Hi There,
I am a local tennis coach with over 20 years coaching experience setting up community lessons and playing sessions in the areas local parks. These will be ability level graded for all people and will operate on a pay and play on the day basis. There will be junior and adult coaching sessions and each session will be matchplay structured with coaching, matchplay drills/exercises and matches. The junior sessions depending on the age and ability will be between 45 minutes to an hour and the adult sessions will last between an hour and an hour and a half, also dependant on ability and there will be no more that 8 people per group.
The junior sessions will be structured with Mini Red, Mini Orange, Mini Green, Junior Beginner, Junior Intermediate, Junior Advanced. The adult sessions will be Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
Senior and Junior sessions have already begun in Chorlton Park and run along side of the tennis club there. These sessions/classes run on a Tuesday and Thursday evening and a Sunday morning. For more information and places, please call, text or email me.
I am setting up other sessions with the aim of increasing participation in tennis within the community and will be played at several park locations throughout Manchester, Salford, Trafford, Holmes Chapel, Middlewich and Sandbach in the very near future.
Some classes have already started as I have already mentioned. Senior and Junior sessions at Chorlton Park and Junior sessions at Sandbach. It is my aim to try and continue these sessions throughout the year not just for the Summer season! Maybe even set up a friendly league against other parks and communities, and even join and compete in one of the areas tennis leagues. It's a good place to meet new friends, have fun and get fit learning or improving in a great sport.
I can also offer a tennis, squash and badminton racquet restringing service, unfortunately due to demand and coaching time there is between a 24 and 48 hour return service. For more information on this and a list of prices please email and ask for a list of strings and prices.
