Robert Half Finance & Accounting is representing a leading organisation in the education industry, who are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager. 

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts department within a Manchester based school. You will be reporting into the Finance Director, with one direct report. Your role will to effectively manage the accounts and assist putting a management accounting process in place. You will need a good solid bookkeeping background, with a sound understanding of debits and credits. You will need experience with purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, VAT and expenses. Ideally you will have experience within the education sector in either a School, College or University, or a local authority establishment. Anyone with experience using FMS system would be of particular interest, however, this is by no means a prerequisite. This role is part time in school hours.

Salary & Benefits

c£21k-£23k (pro rota £25k-£27k) + excellent benefits
