Must have previous experience in dough management - using fresh ingredients. Duties include controlling the day to day running of an Italian pizza & pasta restauarnt, which is the second restaurant of a 21 bedroomed hotel located in the market town of Pickering. You will also be involved with the set up and menu planning of the restaurant.

You will be assisted and backed by the hotel's head chef in maintaining the standards and reputation the hotel has already built up.

You must be passionate about working with fresh locally sourced ingredients prepared and cooked simply. Must work within budgetary constraints and meet all necessary health and safety requirements.

Live in will be available if required. This position is temporary for 6 months (June - November). 42 Hours per week, working Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. 3 days off per week. Salary £16,000-£18,000 per annum, pro rata.

Live-in is available at a cost of £350 per month and is in a staff house with your own private double bedroom with shared bathroom, kitchen & living area. The house is just two minutes from the restaurant. Relocation costs would be covered from within the UK.
