Product Quality Engineer

Product & Quality Engineer positions within the semiconductor industry, commutable from most places in the North West, including Manchester, Oldham, Sheffield and Stockport.

The Quality role will involve dealing with end product customer interaction, using the 8-Discipline (8D) technique and directly interfacing with the customer providing regular updates, information and support in quality related matters.

The product position is more of an internal role, where you will be working with a variety of teams within the department. The Product engineers' main responsibilities will cover:

* Analyzing and reporting on product yields to facilitate ongoing yield improvement over the whole supply chain.
* Parametric data feedback to ensure the product is correctly targeted to meet customer needs and maximise product yield.
* Measures of critical parameters to help facilitate optimized designs.
* Customer requests for product parametric measurements.
* Work with Test Engineering to optimize test routines.
* Support the Quality Department to resolve customer complaints when related to parametric spreads or targeting.
