Welcome to the launch of an exciting new project that hopes to bring local community focused radio to the historic area of northern Cheshire.

If you live in Altrincham, Sale, or one of the many surrounding suburbs, towns or villages, this will be the station for you. We hope that, transmitter permitting; we will reach as far out as Partington, Lymm and Knutsford.

This station will be the premier source of local news and information, provide a voice for our community on issues that are too small to be of interest to the regional media, and a focal point for the broadcasting needs of our community. Specialist programming reflecting the tastes and needs of local people will be developed to make the station as inclusive as possible.

North Cheshire Radio will be run on a Not for Profit basis with any surplus income used to develop this project within our community, or to support other local community groups.

There will be opportunities for all members of our community to become involved in North Cheshire Radio and our website has been created to invite you to become a supporter of North Cheshire Radio.
