Salford City Council Adoption open evening

Date posted: Tuesday 3rd November
Location: Salford

There is a real need for more adoptive parents for children of all ages in the care of Salford City Council.
Come to our open evening to find out more about the adoption process. You’ll be able to talk to our family placement team, meet adopters and start thinking about whether adoption is right for you.

OPEN EVENING
Wednesday 25 November 2009

Register for the open evening on 0161 799 1268

We have a particular need for people who can adopt family groups of two or more, children with disabilities, developmental delay or children over six years old.

If you have space in your home, are caring and committed to helping children reach their potential, you may be able to adopt, regardless of gender, sexuality, marital status, disability or location. We’re particularly interested in hearing from people within a 30 mile radius of Salford.

Adopters come from diverse backgrounds, as do the children looking for adoptive families. Ideally we would like children to grow up in a family that share their language religion and culture, so we welcome people from all ethnic and religious backgrounds.

At Salford City Council, we have an experienced team and pride ourselves on the high level of support and service we can provide.

Whatever your circumstances, we are happy to talk through all the options and help you decide what you would like to do.
