Payroll Officer
Our client is a multi million pound business based in the Salford Quays area, they are currently looking to recruit for a Payroll Officer to join their busy Payroll department.
The role will help administer the payroll for the Employees and Pensioners, ensuring that payments are made on time and accurately and that all statutory and contractual obligations are met. The duties involved are:
· To ensure employees are paid promptly and accurately and that all legal requirements are adhered to.
· To ensure all pay information is entered onto the Payroll system accurately
· To deal effectively with payroll queries from employees, HMRC and other third parties.
The ideal candidate will have a sound working knowledge of PAYE, NI, Statutory payments and any other Government Schemes. Experience of manual and computerised payrolls is essential.
A professional payroll qualification would be an advantage but is not essential but you must have a good working knowledge of PC applications such as Word and Excel.
