Double room in fab penthouse apartment full of character in Withington. Rent includes all bills and I can also provide new bedding if required - for no extra charge - there will of course be a mattress on the bed (not pictured). You will need to be clean, tidy-ish, and of course trustworthy. It is entirely up to you if you use this as a room-rental or flat share as I respect personal space but am also sociable and welcome you to use the whole apartment.

This short term let is ideal for people passing through Manchester, Actors performing locally, Cabin Crew passing through, Students doing research or visiting University open days/graduation etc.

LOCATION:

The apartment is just off Wilmslow Road and 30 seconds from the main 42,43 bus route to Oxford Road. The Universities are just 10-15 mins away by bus. Withington itself is quite lively, with cafes, bars, yoga classes, Local bands doing gigs at Fuel cafe-bar, library and all amenities on the doorstep. The apartment also benefits from peace and quiet as it is off the main road on a leafy street. There is safe off-street parking.

APARTMENT:

Is the top floor penthouse in large house and boasts 2 large double bedrooms with quirky sloped ceilings, the entrance hallway has 2 sets of cool steps leading to what would be your room and the rest of the apartment. The internal hallway is huge and used as an office/computer room. The living room is again very large, with character ceiling and french doors leading to the large balcony. The kitchen also has french doors leading to the juliette balcony. The only downside is the tiny bathroom in comparison to the rest of the fab building.
There is broadband internet and wireless - I know nothing about computers but know its all there so you may need to tweek it if the wifi isn't switched on. Sky TV, multi-region dvd player.

ROOM:

Very large with sloping ceiling and alcove, faux leather sofa, coffee table, double bed, shelves, bookshelf, chest of drawers, Bedside lights, standing lamp and the wardrobe is just outside the room as I was using it as office and it's bloody heavy to move! Bookshelf can be removed if you don't need it.

TERMS:

Rent includes all bills except phone and you can rent the room from just 1 week upwards -

4 Weeks or Less:- £119.00 per week.
One Month or More:- £470.00 pcm (£109.00 pw).

References will be required and checked in all cases. There is no deposit needed. Rent will be required in advance for the full term.

ABOUT MOI:

I am a cheeky and young 36yr male and often work from home at the moment as a writer, artist and sometimes therapist/healer from time to time. Soon I will be working voluntarily in the local Oxfam shop and will be doing other odds and jobs to get me out of the apartment!
I am very fair, have a wicked sense of humour and am easy to talk to. I can be a little quiet sometimes as is the artistic temperament but as long as you dont take this personally it's all cool!
I tend to get on with either younger people or people with a quirky youthful outlook but am open to all.
I am generally clean and tidy but that can fall off a bit if I'm busy... or making excuses!
I'm fine leaving you entirely to yourself - or showing you the sights if you've not been to Manchester before and/or socialising together - I am easy but you will need to let me know which you prefer.
