Manchester's only 5 star Hotel is looking for an outgoing and reliable person to work in our very busy Opus Restaurant & Bar. A minimum of 1year experience in the Beverage field, and an excellent command of the English language are required. The successful candidate will serve F&B customers in a way that makes them feel special, maintain and display in-depth Food & Beverage knowledge consistently, in order to WOW the guest and promote sales. Responsibilities will include: Working closely with the Restaurant and Bar Team Leaders, and Head Barman to achieve success indicators and perform effectively in areas of responsibility. Deliver service standards in accordance with the company F&B manual, adhere to the company grooming standards, taking orders , preparing beverages and cocktails handle cash payments.
Shifts will be 5 days a week (40hrs). Usually 8hr shifts covering breakfast lunch or dinner weekdays and weekends. Rate of pay will be £5.75 p/h to start. After successful completion of 90 day probation the rate goes up to £6 p/h. In addition to the p/h payment you will recieve a portion of an applied service charge or tips.
