Area General Manager for 'Off The Wall' Budget Accommodation Brand
We are a young, hip and trendy brand revolutionising budget accommodation provision in the hostel sector. We have management contract operated units across London and the South East with further nationwide locations to follow in the near future. Our key markets are youth travel groups, backpackers, language students and construction industry workers - but that list is not restrictive as bed filling is our business!
We seek an experienced person (who must be a self starter, go getter and understand the true meaning of 'massive results delivery') from a proven background of sales and operational group management of a budget hotel or hostel group. You will lead a small management team and hold executive influence over the management companies that operate the hostels under our brand banner and be responsible for ensuring that the groups bed revenue targets are met and exceeded whilst at the same time ensuring that the key revenue and ratings drivers within our market are well represented and enforced within our group brand standards policy. Strong Web and PR presence of both bed sales and brand as well as maximising advertising potential within our buildings is key to our success and you will be obsessed with all of this.
We have rapid plans for expansion and brand development in the next 12 months and you will need to be hungry for and have the energy and enthusiasm that is akin to all that we stand for – we are looking for a big character with big personality. This job is not for the feint hearted and people with a 9 to 5 mentality is not what we are looking for!

Salary £30k to £35k plus incentivised bonus structure. Laptop and Blackberry. The office base for the role will be at our offices close to London Bridge although a degree of travelling within the franchised estate will be required for which a company vehicle is provided.
