Luxury City Centre hotel requires maintenance manager ASAP

As our Maintenance Manager you are responsible for the management of the upkeep and repairs of the apartments and head office both based in the city centre of Manchester. You will be in charge of ensuring that you hold a reactive role day to day to make sure the hotel maintains the 5 star standards we require to keep our guests satisfied.

Your responsibilities will also include budgeting and purchasing within your department. You will also have responsibility for some of the Health & Safety issues within the hotel and ensuring that we comply to all the current regulations.

Essential:
A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail
A plumbing/electrical background as well as previous general building experience
Flexibility – you will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Previous maintenance experience preferably within a hotel or a similar environment will be advantagous to your application, additionally any electrician or plumbing qualifications will also be beneficial.
