Full time position available

gamerbase manchester have a full time position available for someone who is extraordinarily devoted to working hard and developing our busy gaming centre - the rewards are obvious, working within a state of the art gaming complex with a team devoted to progress gaming within the UK and beyond! Gamerbase Manchester opened in December last year and we're now ready to step up operations in here and we require someone to bolster our already excellent team. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of tech/gaming is a must, as well as the desire to raise the bar in terms of effort... trust me - it will be worth it :)

The basic job role will involve:

Running daily tournaments across different games and formats
Part of a team running large national/european tournaments and events
Technical responsibilities for problem solving and game installations
General operations including manning the tills and cleaning etc.
friendly banter with customers about games/life in general
pushing sales of software and hardware within hmv

This is a gaming centre, and the daily jobs will revolve around it's operation, but there will be opportunities to shine within the company as we grow, so if you have skills in any of the following fields, that would be ace :)

photography
video production
shoutcast broadcasts
running competitions/gaming events
