Due to a recent sickness during October half term a one form entry school in Bolton are looking for a year 1 teacher to cover as soon as possible in an ongoing position until Christmas. The year 1 class consists of 27 pupils and these pupils have mixed abilities. The school serves a very committed and enthusiastic school community and has a well-managed team of staff who are passionate about teaching. You will have a TA at your side at all times and will have access to a wide range of excellent ICT facilities.


In terms of career development this is an exciting time to join an outstanding school, who strive to provide an excellent team of teaching staff to encourage a positive learning environment. You must have previous experience in teaching a year 1 class, have excellent classroom management skills and be able to conduct the full teaching cycle at all times. Suitable candidates will have at least 6 months teaching experience and must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a UK recognised teaching qualification. You must also be eligible to work in the UK and be a UK resident.
