Product Engineer - Analogue Electronics

Have you professional working experience as an Electronics Engineer or Product Engineer with analogue or power electronics? (e.g. Worked with power supplies, SMPS, PSU, AC/DC, inverters, IGBT, transistors, Power MOSFETs etc). Would you like to be based in the Manchester, Cheshire, area of the North West?

This major electronics company design and produce semiconductor chipset products that are typically used in industrial, automotive, mobile, and computer markets for power related applications. Candidates need to have good analogue electronics experience with some familiarity with transistor and device physics (preferably MOSFET).

The position is to be responsible for introducing new products to market and to develop, improve, and maintain test methods and to provide test related assistance to customers when required (both internal and external).

* You will need to be qualified to Degree or HND level (or higher such as MSc or PhD) in electronics or a physics related subject.

* You should also have practical professional experience of using power MOSFETs, PCB design (e.g. Cadstar) and ATE or lab equipment control (scripting in Labview, C or similar).

* Your written report and authoring skills will also need to be good as the role does require datasheet and product characterisation activity.
