Fully qualified from the Northern Institute of Massage in massage therapy (Diploma), Stone massage (Standard & Advanced Diploma) & Indian Head massage (Diploma), I offer full sensual body massages or can concentrate on backs and shoulders, legs, head and neck or any other areas that are tired and aching.

The occasional hot stone may also be used during these massages to help with particularly stressed muscles.

STONE MASSAGE

Stone therapy is a deeply relaxing and healing therapy.

With the use of hot stones to massage and cold stones to revive, you are left feeling in a state of gentle relaxation but alert and refreshed.

The stones are used to massage heat deep into the muscles, enabling massage strokes to be applied more gently but more effectively. Cold stones are then intermittently used to refresh, causing your system to flush itself and assist in the body’s naturally healing process.

The mind and spirit can also powerfully affected by this treatment helping to eliminate negative energy and promote a gentle sense of well-being.

To help revitalise your energies the stones can be placed on specific areas of your front, back and head. This can stimulate your body’s natural energy and help balance its flow throughout the body.

This is considered to be a strong and essential element to a stone therapy session.
