CONCIERGE MANAGER

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Concierge Managers for future contracts onboard a 5* cruise ship.

• Travel is organised and paid for by the company
• Shared accomodation
• 4 months contract (approximate)

This position require you to LIVE and WORK ABOARD A CRUISE SHIP.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of Concierge experience required
• Resort or Cruise line Concierge experience desired
• Must be creative and enjoy creating a fun and safe atmosphere for children
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
• Tourism and Hospitality classes/certifications a plus
• Proven ability to deliver excellent service
• Self motivated, able to work autonomously
• Ability to build relationships amongst other departments

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fulfill daily tasks according to operational checklists that support delivery of an
excellent guest experience for all guests with special focus on individually
designated concierge guests
• Perform inspection of concierge suites with regards to cleanliness and proper
set up
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of any VIP arrivals
• Train Guest Service Host/ess and fellow managers in tasks that support the
delivery of excellent service to all guests and concierge specific services
• Support general Guest Services operation as needed; this includes phone or
desk coverage and other general tasks
• Actively participate in the Guest Satisfaction Measurement and continuous
improvement processes
• Maintain Operating Guidelines, together with Manager Guest Services, as new
guest enhancements are created
• Service designated concierge guests by providing personalized itinerary
planning, obtaining special bookings, planning special events, assisting with
folio settlement or any other special requests that may arise (e.g. spa or dining
reservations)
• Deliver the highest level of personalized service and actively interact with
concierge guests on a daily basis, showcasing enthusiastic professionalism
and efficiency in meeting all guest needs and special requests
• Anticipate needs of guests and execute all guest requests in a timely fashion
• Be instrumental in creating an environment and executing service that is
second to none
