Petite, 27, fair, professional woman. I've been far too busy with my career to date and my private life hasn't had much air time. Enough is enough. Feeling a bit cynical about internet dating but the person that resonnates with my soul maybe out there - so I shall proceed - with good intentions.

I'm an old head on young shoulders....always have been. People tell me that I'm attractive but I never make any claims - I'm modest. Where I'm from.....an ounce of pretention is worth a pound of manure. I enjoy the gym, cardio, weights, swimming for relaxing. I love to travel and wish I could do it more. I like spending time alone, reflecting, having a laugh with old friends (real salt of the earth types). I like dining out, girly days, duvet days, snuggling up and saying nothing, talking all night, daydreaming, sleeping......get the idea? I'm completely independent and have no desire to be a kept woman. My hard work is now starting to accelerate my career but I'm lacking something else - a partner, someone on the same wavelength, someone I'm physically attracted to and above all - a good, genuine, honest, consistent, reliable person.

I'm looking for an older, professional male - but not someone who is panicking about pro creating asap! I have plenty of time and I'm not in that place yet. Just to be even more stringent I don't want to be a stepmother either - sorry. I need someone that has done all of their sleeping around and experimentation and is now ready to commit to one person.

When I say professional - I mean it. I'm no snob....I just need someone that I can intellectually connect with. I don't feel too obsessed with looks but there must be 'chemistry' of some description. I am flexible re location - travel isn't insurmountable for the right person. Casual sexual arrangements, players, flirts and the unfaithful need not apply. I'm looking for something long haul or at least the building blocks for it.

Hopefully my earnest plea hasn't put off Mr Mature, honest, sexy, professional.......I guess we'll see.......
