We have opportunities in this role in Manchester (Quay Street).
This is a full time position. The shift patterns are between:
Mon-Fri 8.00 am - 9.00 pm, Sat-Sun 8.00 am - 6.00 pm
Salary: £17,595 plus excellent bonus potential and benefits

Despite what you might think, join Barclays as a Collector and your job won't be to chase people for money. It will be to contact customers whose accounts have fallen into arrears, get to understand their situation and arrange repayment terms that protect their interests as well as our own. The difference being, it's as much about listening as it is about talking.
What you'll give our customers
Life's full of ups and downs so it's inevitable that some of our customers may have financial difficulties from time to time. But it's important that we find a way to solve these small problems before they become big ones. Working with minimum supervision, you'll handle both inbound and outbound calls with customers in arrears to negotiate repayment terms that work for both of us. By gaining an understanding of each customer's circumstances, you'll be able to use your empathy and negotiation skills to find a way forward from potentially complex financial and emotional circumstances.

What you'll need
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need call centre experience, negotiation skills and superb interpersonal skills so you can quickly build a rapport with customers and gain their trust. It's a fast-paced, challenging environment, but your resilience, cool-head and ability to come up with simple solutions to complex financial problems will make sure customers ultimately remember the answers you provided, not the problems they were in.
