Catering Manager required for a new residential care home opening up in the Greater Manchester area. This is a high class establishment and as such the suitable candidate must come from a high class quality background.

The Catering Manager will be responsible for all food operations according to policies and procedures, you will be involved in recruitment, purchasing, menu design and financial management.

The ideal candidate must:

*Have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role as a Head Chef/ Catering Manager *Possess 706/1, 706/2 or equivalent NVQ
*Have intermediate food hygiene
*Ideally have knowledge of nutrition and therapeutic diets
*Be confident at developing a good working relationship with suppliers and the kitchen brigade to deliver the best service possible to the residents.

The salary is up to £24,000 with excellent benefits, company health scheme, pension, 25 days holiday.
