I am looking for au pair, household helper. I am a professional who as a very busy working life, I have a 4 bedroom property of which I rent usually two rooms to two students.
I have a third room available and I would like to allocate that to an au pair for the price of 30 pounds a month without bills (and with deposit), what I ask in return is some help for house hold duties, such as cooking meals, mainly dinner and preparing pack lunch for the following day and breakfast ( only for one person). Other duties will be keeping tidy the house, some ironing when is necessary after washing clothes. I do not request cleaning, apart from the general idea to keep bit the house clean, since every week I have a cleaner that comes and clean the house.
The main duty is cooking for one person preparing meal and keeps tidy clothes etc.
I only request this only 6 days a week, and as an example it will involve probably one hour in the morning and one hour (or two) in the late afternoon evening to prepare the meals. To prepare meal I have a fix menu diet that is not difficult to prepare.
Occasionally I might request some ironing, but the cleaner does a bit of ironing as well.
Therefore the candidate has many hours free during the day for a part time job or an educational course. And one day will be off during weekend, usually Sunday.
I require reliability, willing to help, clean, non smoker, to be on time, and someone I can trust when I am not in the premises due to work or conferences. Must be tidy and clean.
The au pair will have her own room with bedroom desk wardrobe and lamp. A bathroom shower to share only with two other tenants. She does not have to look after the other tenants and she is not required to do any garden work.
The kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine dryer, microwave, kettle, and two fridges. There is also a living room, dining room and conservatory, plus a bicycle shed.
Though I rent two rooms to student or professional it is not a student house, it is a quite premise, in a new neighboured. I am based in York, North England.
The age I would prefer would be between 21 and 45, non smoker, possibly with some experience and must have references. Ideally I would like to have a trial for a week, then extended with a contract for a month and then possibly until June 2009 or even a year.
In return the au pair will have a nice room only for 30 a month without bills, therefore is advisable that she can find a part time job, that suits the hors however necessary for the household duties (I am willing to help to allocate one), or if she decide to attend a language course etc. the duties are usually in the early morning and late afternoon evening only.
