SCAFFOLD CONTRACTS MANAGER JOB

My Client is a leading Scaffolding Contractor based in the North West and due to a period of expansion and development, are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to it's highly experienced team. With a solid base and history, my client prides itself in its professionalism, dedication and ability to be a market leader in its field of expertise.

The successful applicant must have proven demonstrable experience within the Scaffolding Industry and must have worked within the mainstream Contracting, Commercial and Industrial sectors. Typical main Clients my client works for are;

- BAM Construct
- Balfour Beatty
- Laing O'Rourke
- Carillon
- Shepherd Construction
- BHP
- Eon

They must have worked in a similar position previously as they must be able to 'hit the ground running' due to the current workload and projects currently underway. Working alongside the Business Development Manager and reporting directly to the Managing Director, Successful applicants must also be able to Estimate in order to bring new business in and win contracts for the company - Typical values between £1k - £2m

My Client is looking for an experienced and grounded individual to bring expertise, leads, business knowledge and contacts to the business in order to grow the organisation and increase turnover.

Health and Safety is paramount for this role and the sector my Client operates within, the successful applicant must consider Health & Safety as vitally important on every job and must have good knowledge from this. My Client is ideally looking for someone with IOSH and / or NEBOSH.

Roles and Responsibilities will include;
- Overseeing Site Management and Personnel
- Pre-site startups
- Implementing and acknowledging the importance of Health & Safety on site
- Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Estimating and pricing for work
- Working closely with Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Structural Engineers, Designers and Local Authorities
- Working closely with the Business Devleopment Manager, Commercial team and Managing Director
- Labour management and resourcing
- Managing multiple sites at any one time from inception to completion
- Managing due-diligence and effective leadership
