Construction company has full time vacancies for trainee web developers to be guided through an in-house training program progressing towards the post of Developer. The successful candidates will be working alongside the development team on the creation and ongoing maintenance of the companies systems.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a general knowledge in computer programming including an ability to use text editors (or IDE) to write script files. Experience of our current technologies (PHP, Python, PERL etc) would be an advantage but, more importantly, a general understanding of programming techniques and IT, coupled with a willingness to develop your skills within the role is required.

For the post of Trainee Web Developer no previous experience is required, however; it is essential that the successful candidate has good communication and problem solving skills. A relevant IT qualification at GCSE is essential along with good GCSE grades (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Desirable factors include experience in a busy and demanding environment and a computer related qualification at HNC level or above.
