Our client, a leading financial institution based in Manchester City centre, is looking for immediately available candidates to work within Customer Accounting reconciling accounts. The role holder will be responsible for collating and interpreting financial information to be able to complete detailed reconciliation. Where problems are identified, they will require to be fully investigated to a satisfactory and timely conclusion and take ownership of any issues through to resolution.
Key skills we are looking for are:
1. Extensive Reconciliation experience within a financial environment preferably however other reconciliation experience will be considered.
2. Track record of being able to work to tight deadlines and manage high volume transactions.
3. Strong Excel skills.
4. Self starter (can do attitude) with track record of Taking Ownership to resolve issues.
5. Excellent Time Management and Prioritising skills.
6. Proven track record of Analytical Skills.
It is essential that you have the skills to establish and develop excellent working relationships within a team as well as across Business Areas in order to deliver required results. You must have the ability to learn in order to develop a high level of knowledge relating to the reconciliation & settlement of Accounts and you must be able to commit to a minimum of 12 months.
