Our client is a leading contractor in the Manchester area working on a variety of oil & gas and nuclear projects. As a result of significant contract wins, they are now recruiting for a Senior & Principal Piping Engineers.

A detailed knowledge of international piping codes is essential along with awareness of national and international legislation concerning the oil gas and chemical industry.

Experience in the oil, gas, chemical or nuclear industries

An in depth knowledge of materials used in the industry including their selection criteria, properties, design limits and product forms is essential.

Knowledge of welding and inspection techniques used in piping engineering for the differing ranges of materials and service is required.

 

Candidates should have significant experience in the oil, gas and chemical industry with previous lead engineer experience.

A degree qualification is preferred with charter engineer status or working towards it.
