Apprenticeship Development Officer £16k plus bonus
We are an exciting Private Training Provider looking for an ambitious Apprenticeship Development Officer to work for us in the North West.
Since 2003 we have delivered training and qualifications to over 35,000 employed and unemployed learners. Recently we have been awarded a contract to deliver Apprenticeships to young people aged between 16 and 18 and need proactive, self motivated and ambitious people to engage employers and learners to create job opportunities for our apprentices.
Salary £16k pa with bonuses including £50-100 per new Apprentice you find a position for (uncapped). Mileage paid for. You will be home/field based and we provide you with: Laptop/Phone/Printer/3G Internet Card.
Key responsibilities include:
* Creating Apprenticeship vacancies and filling them
* Engaging with outside agencies to market vacancies to young people
* Conducting enrolments and induction for young people onto Apprenticeship programmes
* Conducting Government funded paperwork when required
* Business Development and exemplary time management
Other requirements:
* Must have a full clean driving licence and have use of own car and be prepared to travel across the North West.
* Good levels of literacy and numeracy and ideally qualified to A Level or equivalent
* As you'll be working with young people, a clean CRB check is required
* Be confident dealing with clients over the phone and face to face
* Ideally you will have some experience of Apprenticeships and/or recruitment. Though if you are the right person training will be supplied, you may be looking for a new career path having worked within Retail/Administration/Customer Service.
* Be sympathetic and be able to empathise with young people going into the workplace.
