The Butterfly Experiment are searching for a new bass guitarist.

The Band
The band has always (2 years) been a four-piece rock band, with heavy blues-rock influences (e.g. Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix) mixed with a novel funky twist. Gigs have been played nationwide, and although the band rehearse in the northwest (Warrington at the moment), London is prioritised where there is a growing fan base of the band’s music. Live gigs always get a great reaction, and the two albums that have been recorded have excellent reviews.

The band will hopefully soon have new management and will work towards a label deal.

Bassist
It’s not crucial that you have the same influences given that the band really has it’s own sound. Ideally we’d like someone who is very easy to get on with, will take as much fun out of this as we do, will be dedicated and enthusiastic to rehearse 2-3 times a week, to gig as often as the gigs come around, ideally is aged between 21-30, and is also committed to be involved in band-related work outside of rehearsal and gigging (e.g. promotion, website maintenance etc).
