Our client, an expanding privately owned care home provider, is looking to expand its nursing and management team and is currently recruiting into the position of Deputy Manager for a Nursing and Residential Home near Stockport.

The successful candidate will be joining this company at an exciting time of expansion offering the very best of care in newly built or updated properties. Their homes offer a variety of care including Nursing, Residential and other specialist areas.

The Deputy Manager will assist in the day to day duties of a 66 bed dual registered elderly care home in the Greater Manchester area. Please note this is a role for an experienced RGN looking for development and who is eligible to work in the UK.

Skills required for this role include, approximately one years experience as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager within a residential / nursing care home for the elderly.

The applicant must possess a good knowledge of Care Standards, Health & Safety Legislation and CCQ and they should have undergone training in the following areas; Medication, Moving & Handling, POVA. This position is offering an hourly rate of £13.50/hour which is negotiable depending on previous experience and qualifications for the right candidate.

The ability to effectively communicate, manage time and good interpersonal skills, a committed and flexible individual, willing to work a minimum of 36 hours per week.
