A family in Cheadle Hulme are looking for someone to keep company to our 11 year old girl and 7 year old boy before and after school and during school holidays.

I am professional mum working 3 days a week. I am looking for an enthusiastic person with some experience of working with children to start in the last week of November.

The hours would be 7.15 to 9.00 am and 3.15 to 5.30 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (12- 14 hrs/week, 39 weeks a year) in school term; could be more in school holidays. We may need some extra hours occasionally, with plenty of notice. We rarely need weekend childcare.

During school term you will drive the girl to the bus stop every morning (about 1.5 miles from home) and back in the afternoon. I can provide a car. You will walk the boy to and from school, a quarter of a mile from home. You will take children for some activities in Cheadle Hulme area. Usually you will help children with homework, play, reading, art-craft, baking, take them to park, library or for walks.

You would also help with general cleaning, tidying up.

It would be a great help if you could cook – you would get plenty of help from children.

Salary negotiable - £8.00 - £8.50 per hour, about £120/- per week.
