Restaurant Store Manager / Deputy Manager Catering (To £27k)

Our client is the world's largest submarine sandwich franchise, with over 175 stores across the North, 1000 throughout the UK and Ireland and over 28,000 globally! And the company is growing at a phenomenal rate!

They are looking for talented Restaurant Managers and Assistant / Deputy Managers to join their expanding teams.

The role:
As a restaurant manager, you will have full financial, operational and personnel accountability for your business, you are totally responsible for your own success. With an outstanding network of support, you will have every opportunity to succeed.

Key responsibilities:
a) To maintain a high quality of store operation, analyse financial performance, ensure customer satisfaction and maintain sandwich quality.
b) You will support, implement and communicate company policies, processes and procedures to all staff. The role involves the recruitment, training and development of high performing teams.
c) Provide on going training coaching and feedback.
d) Weekly scheduling of store working to projected hourly labour goals.
e) Monitor all Food Safety and Health & Safety aspects of the store.
f) Gain a knowledge and understanding of the POS system, use this system to help in reporting information for store improvement.
g) Monitoring all cash handling and cash register functions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
h) Manage the store profit and loss, taking into account budgets and projected figures advised.
i) Ensure a thorough Stock Take / Inventory is completed each week and any discrepancies are accounted for.
j) Maintain weekly payroll for staff and liase with Head Office.
k) Ordering of stock for the restaurant ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained and that no over or under ordering is taking place.

The successful candidate:
a) Ideally, you will be a current Manager (in a fast paced catering or retail environment) who is fluent with their figures and can demonstrate a successful business track record
b) To be considered at Deputy Manager level you will need to have a demonstrable track record of successful supervisory experience.
c) Effective communication skills, both written & verbal and proficient in Maths and English.
d) A genuine passion for customer service
e) The ability to train and develp others
f) Able to motivate and inspire a team.
