Senior Acoustics Consultant Job North-West
 
Our client is a national consultancy who work across a range of environmental and civil design sectors. Currently they have an urgent need for an Acoustics professional to take up a senior position within their Manchester offices. The role requires a candidate who has experience delivering Environmental Noise Modelling projects, ideally using the proprietary software package (Lima). This is a client facing role, and will involve engagement in a wide variety of building projects and schemes. Our client are keen to appoint a commercially driven individual who can see opportunities to further develop their offerings to their existing client base, and play an active part in the procurement of new business for the firm. It is essential that candidates should have team leadership experience.

 
Candidates are likely to hold a Degree in Acoustics or general degree with an appropriate post-graduate qualification (e.g. IoA diploma)
Applicants will ideally hold membership to the Institute of Acoustics.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
*     Must have personally managed at least one project to successful completion.
*     Must have personal experience of Noise Modelling using a recognised software package.
*     Must have experience of using noise monitoring equipment.
*     Strong project management skills are essential.
